My mother was born and raised in the countryside of Italy, where natural living was simply a way of life. She firmly believed that nothing should be applied to the skin that could not also be consumed. Olive oil was her trusted remedy for healthy skin and hair, fresh garlic served as a natural antibiotic for cuts, bruises, and bee stings, and lemons were used to ease nausea naturally. These are just some of the traditions that shaped the way I was raised and continue to influence me today.

As a mother of three myself, I remained deeply connected to those values. I found myself turning to olive oil and coconut oil for my own skin and hair care, embracing simple, nourishing ingredients rooted in nature. Over time, I combined my mother’s wisdom with my own experiences to create a natural approach to caring for mature, aging skin.

After seeing so many skincare products centered around harsh treatments and overly complicated routines, Stella Mia was born — Italian for “My Star.” We wanted to create something different: rich, restorative skincare crafted with ingredients the skin naturally recognizes, absorbs, and welcomes. Pure, effective, and inspired by generations of natural care, and inspired by timeless ingredients and the needs of mature skin. These  products focus on restoring moisture, supporting the skin barrier, and bringing comfort back to everyday skincare rituals.

By blending nutrient-dense beef tallow with botanical oils and calming aromatics, Stella Mia embraces a slower, gentler approach to beauty: one rooted in nourishment, softness, and graceful aging. Because skincare should never feel overwhelming. It should feel grounding, luxurious, and deeply caring.
